Miroslava Kazantseva was born in Semiginiv village in Western Ukraine. She graduated from Lviv University and worked as geologist.
In 1982 she moved to Novokuznetsk, Russian city in the south of Western Siberia. There she continued her career in geology and was raising her daughters. During “perestroika” Miroslava finally decided to follow her dream to become an artist.
Her first art exhibition in 1992 had a huge success. All the paintings were sold.
In 1996 she moved to another Russian city — Kaliningrad. It locates near the Baltic sea. And Miroslava stays here to this day.
In 2002 she graduated Kaliningrad State University in visual arts. In Kaliningrad she continues to make her personal exhibitions and take part in different art projects of Kaliningrad Art & History Museum. There is also a number of her paintings of religious genre in catholic churches all over the Kaliningrad region. Most of the paintings are in private collections in Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Germany. The artist also participated in educative projects of catholic Charity fund “Caritas-west”.
For several years from 2009 till 2015 she was looking for inspiration in Indian nature and culture. The personal exhibition of paintings written in Goa (india) was held in Kaliningrad Art & History Museum in 2010, 2011, 2013 years. Also in Armenian Cultural center in 2010.
